Board Meeting-Agenda
April 3, 2006
CALL TO ORDER
Approval
of the March Board Minutes; Lance Burton motion to approved,
second made by Ed Muntz, vote taken and motion carried.
Those in attendance at the November board meeting were: President
Chris Launer; Vice President Jim Shaw; Secretary Ed Muntz;
Activities Director Glen Spielbush; Publications Director
Lynn Lackey; Membership Director Lance Burton; Treasurer Chuck
Haber; with guests John Osborne, and Jim Spawn.
STANDING
REPORTS
- Publications Director: Lynn Lackey reported that he began the distribution
of the new rosters at the last meeting and will continue
at the next meeting passing them out and will mail the ones
not picked up. Follow
up on Gene Hoke stating that he was pleased with the plaque
and will send some old newsletters for our archives.

Membership Director:
Lance Burton reported 113 members on the roll.
3.
Activities Director: Glen
Spielbush announced the Woodlands swap meet April 8th
weekend, April 22, a tour at the Truman library to see the
miniature Whitehouse made to scale, meet at the Truman Library
at 10AM, there is a chare of $4.75. Afterward everyone will
meet at Ernie's for lunch. May 5th and 6th there
is a Sedalia Model A meet,
also on May 6th there is a swap meet at Lawrence,
at the Douglas county fair grounds.

Treasurer: Chuck
Haber passed out monthly financial statement. Mentioned that
we are not under a contract at the Church we are currently
using for meetings.

OLD BUSINESS
1.
Lynn has all the Job descriptions.
2.
Final discussion
on NKC community center, with John Osborne wanting to drop
looking at a change at this time, a motion was made by Chuck
Haber to discontinue and drop the vote on NKC at this time,
a second was made by Lynn Lackey, vote was taken and motion
carried. Lance Burton stated
that a committee could look at a new location some
time in the future.
3.
Club shirts; Lynn
asked about the shirts that was presented by Jim Shaw at the
last meeting, due to a lack of time it was not pursued, so
a meeting was set up by the board on April 10th
2006, to further looking into the material that Jim Shaw put
together.
4.
Union Station swap
meet update: Jim Spawn
suggested that the club set up a club booth to sell shirts
to benefit the club and for any club member to sell any items
that they have. Motion was made by Ed Muntz to set up a club
booth and a second by Chuck Haber, after a vote the motion
carried. Jim reported that we will have to rent tables and
chairs for the breakfast and lunch, several ideas were presented
to explore for the best fit and rate. Union Station is working
on a website to promote this event and wanted a Model A to
be on display for a month for advertising purposes. The members present were privileged to see film
footage of the 20 millionth Ford on its tour in Kansas
City in 1931.
