Board Meeting-Agenda
SEPTEMBER , 2006
CALL TO ORDER
Approval of the AUGUST Board Minutes: Motion to accept by
Chuck Haber, a second by Ed Muntz, motion carried
· Those in attendance at the November board meeting
were: Jim Shaw, Lance Burton, Glen Spielbusch, Ed Muntz, Chuck
Haber, Lynn Lackey, and Bob Hess.
STANDING REPORTS
Publications Director: Lynn said he got the news letter out.
2. Membership Director: Lance said membership has not changed.
3.Activities Director: Glen mentioned the past swap meet in
Springfield, the Good Guys at the race track, Leavenworth
on Sept 6th. Chuck suggested we should pick certain events
that go into the news letter, ones that we want to promote.
Also we may need to put into the news letter that we need
more people to come forward and promote different activities.
Glen passes out any information he has at the membership meeting.
Chuck passed out a report on the areas of our web site that
gets the most hits, and the monthly calendar with events posted
was the most looked at. Glen is going to help chuck with putting
more of the events on the website calendar.
4. Treasurer: Chuck passed out the monthly treasurer’s
report. The final tabulation for the Union Station event was
passed out. A motion was made to add to bylaws a signature
by position change so business transactions at the bank could
be made much easier, for the positions of President, Vice
President, Treasurer, for the accts the club has. Motion made
by Chuck, a second by Jim Shaw, motion carried.
5. Plain Old A’s: Bob Hess reported the Kansas club
is having a overnighter to Nebraska City in October, and they
have done several other weekend activit
6. Other Reports Not Listed: Will discuss job duties at next
meeting. Also Jim Shaw is finalizing the Nominating committee.
7. Regional meet Bob Hess was meeting after the board meeting
with the steering committee.
NEW BUSINESS
1. Discussion on Christmas Dinner, we need to start selling
tickets and collecting money, Jim Shaw will start the collections.
