Board Meeting-Agenda
October 3, 2006
CALL TO ORDER
Approval of the September, Board Minutes: Motion to accept
made by Lance Burton, a second made by Lynn Lackey, motion
carried.
· Those in attendance at the October board meeting
were: Jim Shaw, Glen Spielbusch, Lynn Lackey, Chuck Haber,
Ed Muntz, Lance Burton
STANDING REPORTS
1. Publications Director: Lynn wants Lance to ask at the next
membership meeting to include on their membership renewal
to mention when they first joined the club. Lynn passed sheets
of business cards for the board members.
2. Membership Director: Lance reported that membership has
not decreased nor increased.
3. Activities Director: Glen mentioned the Pigeon Forge trip,
and that Hyde Park was well attended. Next event was the fall
foliage tour on Oct. 14th
4. Treasurer: Chuck passed out the financial reports. Also
brought up that we need to make arrangements to start collecting
for the Christmas dinner.
5. Plain Old A’s: No report given.
6. Other Reports Not Listed: Jim mentioned that we may need
some kind of incentive to get more people on the tours. Glen
says that we have had good participation.
OLD BUSINESS
1. Jim Shaw said he was having a hard time getting some one
for activities, and some ideas were discussed. Lance volunteered
to stay with membership director, and Chuck accepted the treasury
position for the coming term.
NEW BUSINESS
1. A motion to buy the Thanksgiving turkey was made by Glen
Spielbusch, and a second was made by Lance Burton, the motion
carried.
