Board Minutes

CALL TO ORDER
Approval of the JANUARY, 2007 Board Minutes: Motion to accept
by Jim Shaw and a second by Lynn Lackey, motion passed.
· Those in attendance at the November board meeting
were: Chris Launer, Jim Shaw, Ed Muntz, Glen Spielbusch, Lance
Burton, Chuck Haber, and Lynn Lackey. Visiting Milton Hessefort,
Jeff, Jerry, and Jim Wallen. The Wallen brothers presented
to the club a check in the amount of $500 for the scholorship
fund as a memorial to their father.
STANDING REPORTS
Publications Director : Lynn reported that the roster was
about ready for the printer, any known changes need to be
made soon.
2. Membership Director: Lance Burton stated that we have 82
members and the same time last year the club stood at 100
members.
3.Activities Director: Glen said that there were 53 in attendance
at the technical seminar in Desoto at Dean Wellers garage.
Our next driving event will be the St. Patrick’s Day
Parade. We are to assemble one hour ahead of time, with lunch
following at Governor’s Stumpies immediately following
the parade. The Plain O’ A’s has extended an open
invitation to us to attend any or all of the tours that they
are sponsoring.
4. Treasurer: Chuck Haber passed out the financial report
and went over it with the board members.
OLD BUSINESS
1. Chris reported that he has investigated several options
for next years Christmas Dinner and is close to finalizing
the selection.
NEW BUSINESS
1. Glen Spielbusch has taken over the responsibility of being
the Fund Raiser Chairman.
2. Mimi Deel has accepted the position of Sunshine Chairman.
3. Milton reminded everyone that the scholarship fund was
set up for the Mcphearson School.
4. Making some adjustments for the next year a new budget
was set. Motion to accept by Ed Muntz, and a second by Lance
Burton. Motion carried.
MEETING WAS THEN ADJUOURNED.
