Meet Your New Membership Director!
Carletta and Billie Beeson
Our new Membership Director, Carletta Beeson, was born in Leavenworth, KS (dad was in military), but grew up in Kansas City, MO. Her husband Billie was born and raised in Atlanta, MO. They have been married for over 30 years. Carletta has worked for the Hickman Mills school district for 14 years now, while Billie retired as a self-employed 18-wheel truck driver. For years Carletta and Billie drove over the road together, hauling freight to all states except Washington and Maine. Billie had 2 children, Carletta had 4, and they adopted 3 more, so there were always kids around (now grandkids) to travel with them, or help with old cars. Anyone that has been around Carletta and Billie know how much they enjoy their Model A’s and old Ford tractors.
Something you DIDN’T know about Carletta and Billie! They owned and operated an asphalt company in the Kansas City area which had six trucks, and paved numerous streets in the Kansas City area. We won’t blame them for all the current potholes around town!
